To obtain a burn permit please call the Public Safety Department at 517-788-4223. You will need to provide your name, address, phone number and what you will be burning. Permits are issued 7 days a week.
Please note: Burn permits are issued on the day of. You must have a water source readily available and cannot leave fires unattended. You may burn natural products only. Items such as garbage, furniture, treated lumber, etc., are NOT permitted. Fires are NOT to smolder.
